What made you start doing magic?
DA:
I was on a path to become a surgeon when, early one morning
in a taxi on my way to my third day of medical school, I
began cleaning my ear with a Q-Tip. Just then, the taxi
hit a pothole and I accidently jammed the Q-Tip inside my
brain. Although I was able to extract it almost immediately,
the resulting damage made me want to become a professional
magician.

Where do you get your inspiration?
DA:
Mostly bubble gum wrappers, but once from a restaurant placemat.

What was your first magic book?
DA:
New Modern Magic (J.B.Bobo)
JH:
Which area of magic do you specialize in?
DA:
Mostly I do tricks with lint.
